Hootie & the Blowfish has been committed to junior golf for more than 15 years. Without the efforts of Hootie & the Blowfish, our Chapter Directors and their volunteer’s, this program would not exist. We do appreciate all their efforts in making this program possible.
Where does the money for the Hootie & the Blowfish fund come from?
The majority of funding comes from the annual fundraising event, Hootie & the Blowfish’ Monday after the Golf Tournament. Monday after the Masters, affectionately referred to as “MAM”, is a celebrity pro-am golf tournament where every April, celebrities, pro golfers and friends travel to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend of fun and philanthropy.

Who is eligible to join the SCGA?
ELIGIBITY: Open to SCGA members or juniors whose parents are members of the SCGA (on a handicap roster) between the ages of 13 and 18 and not enrolled in college as of June 10, 2019. Field is determined by the lowest 156 handicap indexes. Open to all Girls 7-18 and Boys 7-18 who are also members of the Upstate Chapter.
