What is Minky Dot?
This Minky fabric, also known as cuddle fleece, is an extremely soft version of fleece fabric that is very warm. This elegant, soft and cuddly fabric has a raised dotted texture with a 3mm uniform pile. The dotted surface adds a pleasant texture compared to our Smooth Minky fabric.
What are Minky dots?
Minky Dot has a raised dot pattern with a relatively short pile. Minky Rose Swirl has long fibers that are swirled to create a rose-like pattern. Sherpa Minky looks like the Sherpa fleece that is often used as linings for hoodies and other warm apparel or accessories. It has the characteristic softness of Minky.
What is Minky fabric called in UK?

What thread is best for Minky fabric?

Sew with polyester thread to increase stitch strength (we recommend Mettler METROSENE)! Because minky fabric is a knit polyester, it has stretch inherently. Polyester thread has a bit of stretch as well, so when you combine the two they work together nicely (and don’t forget about the bobbin!).
