What are the requirements for EDDM?
EDDM Retail’s Size requirements
- Minimum Size: Be greater than either 6 1/8 inches high or 10.5 inches long on one side.
- Maximum Dimensions: No side can be longer than 15 inches or 12 inches high.
- Weight: Cannot weigh more than 3.03 ounces.
- Thickness: Must be thicker than 0.007″ and less than . 75″ thick.
Is there a minimum quantity for EDDM?
EDDM-Retail flats must be part of one mailing of at least 200 pieces (or 50 pounds), but no more than 5000 pieces per mailing per day at any 5-digit ZIP Code location.
Do you need a permit for EDDM?
You won’t need a mail permit to do EDDM Retail. This is by far the most popular option for the majority of businesses and organizations looking to send an EDDM campaign. One note about EDDM Retail: your mail pieces mustbe taken to the Post Office designated for your route(s).
What are the sizes for EDDM?
Every Door Direct Mail® postcards typically come in three different sizes: 6.25″ x 9″, 6″ x 11″, and 8.5″ x 11″. All three sizes mail at the same EDDM® postage rates, so you might consider getting more out of your postage with a larger sized postcard.
Does EDDM need to be a flat?
You can only mail flats via EDDM®. To be considered a flat, a mail piece must exceed ONE of the minimum dimension requirements in the table below. Flats cannot exceed ANY of the maximum dimensions. All flats must also have a minimum thickness of 0.007″ and a minimum height of 3.5″.
Can EDDM be 5×7?
