How do you audition for Joffrey Ballet?

- To pre-register for an audition: 1) Register Online. 2) Complete the Online Audition Form.
- Online pre-registration will close the prior Sunday of each audition.
- To register in person the day of an audition, please bring: – A completed Audition Form. – $45 cash or check (made out to Joffrey Ballet)

How hard is it to get into Joffrey Summer Intensive?
Another fact we can share in regards to our acceptance rate is that our admissions are highly competitive. We base acceptance to each intensive on each dancer’s performance in a 90 minute audition with our artistic directors. The artistic director then evaluates and selects the dancers for our intensives.

The Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Program provides artists ages 13 – 25, a solid foundation for a career in dance. The program is divided between High School students and those who have graduated.

Juilliard ranks No. 1 among global performing arts schools and only accepts 24 dance students each year, 12 males and 12 females. To be considered for acceptance, applicants must complete a rigorous five-step dance audition which includes ballet and modern techniques.
Is it hard to get into PNB summer intensive?
Truth: PNB School’s summer course is very selective. Only students who have the potential for a professional career are accepted. There is not a set number of spots for students and the city in which you audition does not impact the selection process.
Is Joffrey Ballet School a high school?
All Joffrey Ballet School students have an opportunity to receive their high school education and diploma taking advantage of one of 4 options; Keystone Blended Instructional Program, George Washington University High School, K12 International Academy, or Keystone National High School.
