Who are FSC and what do they do?
FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC has developed a system of forest certification and product labelling that enables people to identify responsibly sourced wood, paper and other forest products.
Is the FSC legit?
FSC Certification is a fraudulent scam to allow people to continue marketing old growth forests around the world.
What is FSC membership?
FSC membership is voluntarily and depends on the interest of a member. All FSC chambers (economic, environmental and social) have an equal say when it comes to making decisions, which is not affected by the number of members representing any particular chamber.

How many members does FSC have?
FSC represents 800 plus members including Non-Governmental Organisations like World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Greenpeace, paper and paper packaging businesses like Tetra Pak, Mondi and Sappi, social organisations, as well as forest owners and managers, processing companies and campaigners.
How is FSC funded?
Our grants for schools are one type of support we offer. We also offer discounts, subsidies, scholarship, and placements; all generously funded by donors and charitable trusts.
