Does UF require a summer semester?
Only UF students entering with fewer than 60 credit hours have to meet the summer term requirement. UF students who earn six (6) credits through UF-sponsored, UF-exchange, or approved SUS study-abroad programs during one or two summer terms while enrolled at UF, completely satisfy the requirement.
Can I do summer B online at UF?
UF will continue online delivery of coursework during the Summer B term, as has been announced for the Summer A and Summer C terms. The Summer B term is being shifted to start one week later than had been previously announced in the academic calendar.
Can you get an AA from UF?
Associate of Arts Degree Although not required, students may receive an A.A. degree, which is awarded by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The degree must be awarded prior to or at the same time as the bachelor’s degree. The application is available on ONE. UF.
How does UF summer work?
Summer B is a six-week session of courses during the second half of the summer. During this time, the minimum full-time load is six credits as opposed to 12 credits required in the fall. “Classes in college are so much different than classes in high school. Enrolling in summer helped me figure that out.”
What is considered full-time at UF?
Undergraduates are considered full-time if enrolled for at least 12 credit hours, half-time if enrolled for at least six credit hours. Graduate students are considered full-time if enrolled for at least eight credit hours, half-time if enrolled for at least four credit hours.
Is it easier to get into UF summer?
“It is easier to be accepted if you say you want to start in the summer term.” Many students love starting in the summer because the campus has fewer students and they are able to get adjusted to life at UF and make friends before the busier fall term.
How many summer credits does UF require?
Course Load Requirements The minimum full-time load for undergraduate students is 12 credits. * The minimum full-time load for a six-week summer term is 6 credits and for the twelve-week summer term is 12 credits. Postbaccalaureate students are considered undergraduates.
How long is the summer B term at UF?

How long is the summer-bridge program? The summer component for all programs is 6 weeks and takes place during the Summer B semester. The Non-Residential component (required) takes place during the Fall & Spring semester of each academic year.
Is there a 2 year degree?
The 2-year degree courses are generally Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate programmes. These concentrate on a particular skill and enable students to master them. A 2-year degree program can be pursued at community, technical, and vocational colleges.
Will Bright Futures pay for summer classes UF?
Please note that starting in 2019, Bright Futures funding is disbursed for fall, spring, and summer terms to eligible students. Students must have a completed financial aid file and must meet all eligibility requirements.
