Who is Xiao Qiu?
Dr. Xiao Qiu obtained his doctorate in plant molecular biology from the University of Guelph. After graduation, he spent two years as Research Associate at the Plant Biotechnology Institute, National Research Council of Canada, and a few years at the nutraceutical industry first as Research Scientist and later as Research Director.

Xiao Yan received his PhD in nuclear engineering from the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET), Tsinghua University, China. His doctoral thesis focuses on the condensation heat transfer on micro/nano-structured surfaces.

In the ETRL, Kazi is studying superhydrophobic surfaces and anti-icing coatings for heat transfer enhancement. Apart from research, in his spare time he enjoys playing cricket, tennis, and badminton.
