Does ESXi support C612 RAID controller?
C612 is Intel-chipset containing RSTe (rapid storage technology). Supported is motherboard and chipset, even sata-ports, but not this “raid-controller”. Basically, it is a fake- (aka software-, bios-, pseudo-) raid, and these are generally not supported by ESXi.
Does ESXi support raid on x10drw-i?
The motherboard in the server is the X10DRW-i, which has the Intel C612 controller driver for RAID for the onboard SATA. However, when I install ESXi, the RAID volume I created does not show, it still shows as separate, individual disks.

What CPU do I need to run ESXi on Windows 10?
You don’t indicate what CPUs you have for the physical Windows 10 and the ESXi host. ESXi requires virtual machine version 11 or higher so that Haswell instructions are exposed to the VM. ESXi 6.7 would be using version 14 by default though. Is the VM virtual disk thick provisioned?
