Forged pistons them selves don’t increase horsepower. But the extra strength of forged pistons allows you to run a bigger camshaft, perhaps higher compression ratio, or lower compression ratio for supercharging.

How are custom piston samples made?
Samples are digitized on the company’s Renishaw Cyclone. Using this data they then create a Solid Works CAD which then allows us to make modifications to meet the customer’s requirements to the model prior to the custom piston being made.
