How do you remove upper cowl from Mercury outboard?
To remove, pull the release latch OUT at the back of the cowling, and lift the AFT/Back end of the cowling UP. There is a “hook” at the front which will disengage when the back of the cowling is lifted, allowing you to remove the cowling.
How do you clean an outboard motor cover?
We recommend that the covers are washed by hand in fresh water with a little silk/ wool detergent and left to air dry. DO NOT USE A JET WASHER ON THE COVERS. If you have washed the covers with any detergent you will need to re proof them.
