Where can I Wild swim on Arran?
The Isle of Arran offers many swimming spots, including both river and sea. But Glen Rosa and the emerald green pools are something else. The glen is fairly low-lying so it makes for an easy walk up to the waterfalls. Near Goat Fell, the highest mountain on Arran, on a good day the views are wonderful.
Can you swim to Lochindorb Castle?
Lochs. Loch an Eilein Castle is on an island just a 70-metre swim from the shore of Loch an Eilein. Lochindorb Castle is 300 metres from the shore, and Lochindorb is exposed on higher ground without sheltering trees. This makes swimming to Lochindorb Castle and back more suited to good weather in summer.
