Do needles come with Victoza?
Needles are not included. Please read these instructions carefully before using your pen. Your pen comes with 18 mg of liraglutide. You can select doses of 0.6 mg, 1.2 mg and 1.8 mg.

How do you know what size pen needle to use?
The dose amount and your physical makeup will play an important part in which length and gauge is right for you. If you are taking a large volume dose you may want to choose pen needles with larger diameters such as a 29G or 30G which allows faster flow of medication through the needle.

What happens to Victoza if not refrigerated?
If unopened Victoza® was exposed to non-refrigerated temperatures (any temperature above 46ºF), the product must be used or discarded within 30 days. Victoza® should be inspected for changes such as precipitation, or change in color or clarity that may indicate a loss in potency.

Does Victoza cause hair loss? Hair loss wasn’t a side effect in people taking Victoza in clinical trials. Hair loss also hasn’t been reported in people taking the drug since it was approved. If you’re concerned about hair loss, talk with your doctor.
Does Victoza have to be refrigerated?
Your new, unused Victoza® pen should be stored in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). If Victoza® is stored outside of the refrigerator (by mistake) prior to first use, it should be used or thrown away within 30 days.
