What is HSC music 1?

Music 1 is one of 3 Stage 6 music courses. Music 1 students will expand on their prior knowledge of the concepts of music through the learning experiences of performance, composition, musicology and aural within a range of musical styles, periods and genres.

What’s the difference between music 1 and music 2?

Music one is primarily a practical based course, with a focus on popular music. Music 2 comes for students with a prior music background, with a greater focus on musicology and Music Extension which is for dedicated musicians.
