It did not benefit from any performance increases but only extra fitments that included forged alloy wheels and special badges and trims. Production totalled 108 units (eight of which for export to New Zealand).
Are VF Commodores reliable?
Upgrades from the first generation Redline made the Commodore the closest thing to a HSV that Holden had ever produced. I’ve had a blast with this car, it has been ultra reliable, Holden themselves were (up until they effectively left town – so to speak – were; from a servicing perspective) absolutely amazing.
What is the difference between VE and VF?
Introduced in 2013, the VF was a substantial update on VE, with (as had become customary for mid-life updates) significant styling tweaks to the nose, tail and dashboard. VF carried an alloy bonnet and bootlid and substituted alloy for steel in some suspension components to help keep the weight down.
