What is the ASTM-Rima certification program?
RIMA International has joined with ASTM International and their certification team at SEI to oversee and institute this program. It was a logical partnership considering the program’s intent is to verify reflective products meet all required ASTM standards and codes.
What is the history of reflectrima international?
RIMA International began in 1978 with a small group of reflective manufacturing companiescoming together to get reflectives into the building codes. The codes have changed dramatically over the years, and the importance of our presence within the codes is stronger than ever.
Why is Rima-I involved in the advanced building code coalition?
As the voice of the reflective insulation, radiant barrier and IRCC industries, it is critical and priority one for RIMA-I to be active within the codes working both offensively and defensively on behalf of the industry. RIMA-I has established the Advanced Building Code Coalition (ABCC)to build support and to work together within the codes.
