How does Jesus change our lives?
Jesus transforms our relationships. Jesus has a way of transforming the way we interact with others, from our family members to total strangers. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus commands us to love one another the way He loves us. In Matthew 26:37-38 He tells us that loving our neighbor is the second great commandment.

God cleans us up by taking our sins away from our life and making us a new creature in Christ, but every day He works on us to make us what we need to be for him in this life. I have many flaws in my life, but God daily helps me to change these flaws and to become the man that he desires me to be.

The Bible has changed my life through the hope found in its words. The Holy Spirit speaks to us through the inspired words of the Bible. When we deny ourselves the power of the Bible we are also missing out on one way we can hear God’s voice. The Bible is like a loud speaker for God’s voice in our life.

To Christians He is God and Saviour. He is the one who came in human flesh, who lived a sinless life but died a sinner’s death, all so that you and I could escape punishment and live at peace in God’s family.
Why has the understanding of God changed?
Our personal concept of God is ever-changing because we change and the world we live in changes. Changes in secular circumstances, religious power, and cultural diffusion changed how early peoples saw God. As people’s concept of God changed, old ideas were either incorporated into new religions or dropped completely.
How did Jesus change us by His grace?
God shapes us in His own image. In the middle of our struggles, He radically transforms our hearts by His grace, so that we are able to think, desire, act, and speak in ways consistent with who He is and what He is doing on earth. Our desire for change begins to line up with God’s purposes for change.

Ask for forgiveness when you sin. However, there’s a way back to God—in 1 John 1:9, the Bible says, “If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Pray to God admitting your sins, and ask him to forgive you and help you overcome them.
