Plastic Bag Using paper as a cover will not do the job; instead, it will cause more mess than a wet cast, which is why using plastic bags is an excellent way to keep a cast, plastic or fiberglass, dry in the shower. Place your arm or leg into the plastic bag and secure it medical or duct tape.
How can I hide my leg cast?
While there are many ways to cover up a cast, we have found that the best way to cover a cast is with a fabric cast cover specifically made for your arm cast, leg cast, brace, split, or walking boot.
Do waterproof cast covers work?
Waterproof cast covers are great at sealing your casts from end to end. They are air-tight and will let no water ingress damage your bandage. Therefore, if you do want to take a quick dip, you should always cover yourself.
