What happened to my Avios account?
The UK Avios Travel Rewards Programme has now closed, but Avios, the currency, remains. As part of the closure, some of our customers have moved to the British Airways Executive Club. You are still able to collect and spend Avios as a member of the British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, AerClub and Vueling Club.
How do I find my BA Executive Club number?
Enter your 9 digit Avios member ID (digits 7-15 of your membership number) to collect Avios on your flight. To find your 9 digit member ID, remove the first 6 numbers and the last number that are displayed on the card.
Is British Airways Executive Club the same as Avios?
While Executive Club was primarily for London-based travellers on British Airways, Avios Travel Rewards allowed those customers who may not live in London, or travel regularly, to earn loyalty points primarily through non-travel means, such as shopping portals and supermarket loyalty spending.

If you find you’re missing some Avios or Tier Points on your account you can claim them back within six months of your flight. New members can even claim Avios and Tier Points for any British Airways flights flown in the three months before joining. You can claim for most flights using our online claim form.

According to the British Airways Executive Club terms: Your Avios stay with you as long as you collect, spend, purchase or share at least one Avios every 36 months — any longer and your Avios will expire and be removed, so remember to take action before those three years are up.
What are 5000 Avios points worth?
British Airways and Avios have a stellar offer, which allows you to use relatively small amounts of points to save up to £100 on flights. If a flight is £120, you an use just 5,000 points to make it £20. The 5,000 points cover £100 of value for a limited time, whereas they usually cover a fraction of that number.
