What is particulate fluid?
PatFluid is a Fuel Borne Catalyst designed as an aftermarket replacement for Diesel Particulate Filter additives used to aid the regeneration of particulate filters fitted to diesel passenger cars. PatFluid is universal as a replacement of all OE DPF additives.
What is DPF refill fluid?
DPF Refill Fluid is a universal replacement for most common soot filter fluids used by various manufacturers in onboard diesel particulate filter (DPF) fluid dosing systems. This results in extended DPF life and trouble-free operation of your DPF system.
What is Eolys fluid?
Eolys is an oil-based compound that is injected into the diesel fuel system. Once inside, it changes the composition of the soot that is creating during the combustion process, enabling the particles to be burnt at lower temperatures.
What is DPF fluid used for?
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a non-hazardous solution, which is 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water. DEF is sprayed into the exhaust stream of diesel vehicles to break down dangerous NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water.
What is PatFluid used for?
PatFluid® lowers the combustion temperature of soot trapped in the filter so that it can be burnt off at temperatures seen during normal driving. This allows for trouble-free vehicle operation under many driving conditions – with rapid and complete DPF regenerations.
Is DPF fluid the same as AdBlue?
Diesel cars fitted with a DPF may not necessarily feature an AdBlue tank. However, cars with an AdBlue tank always feature a DPF as part of the overall emission control solution. AdBlue and DPF warning lights are separate and will illuminate independently of each other.
Is Eolys fluid the same as PatFluid?
PAT Fluid is equivalent in performance to Eolys products DPX 42 and DPX 176 supplied by Citroen/Peugeot.
Do all diesels use DEF?
A: Because almost all diesel-powered passenger cars and trucks built since 2010 are equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and require Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), it is readily available at most fueling stations and automotive parts retail stores. Truck stops often have a DEF pump right on the fuel island.
