Where can you wild camp on Ben Nevis?
If you are using the tourist path up until Lochan Meall an t-suidhe (rather than Torlundy), one suggestion might be to drive to the end of the Glen and walk up to the Steall meadows, the flat area before the wire bridge crossing to the waterfall. Others may better advise how good the ground is for camping.
Does Glen Nevis campsite have showers?
Our campsite facilities (toilets, showers and laundry) will be open with rules in place to limit the risk of transmission. Please ensure that these are followed at all times.
How difficult is Ben Nevis?
While it is definitely possible for an amateur to reach the summit, the main thing to keep in mind is that Ben Nevis is not to be underestimated. It is a difficult and potentially dangerous climb, and takes an average of 4 hours to climb with a further 2-3 hours to climb back down.
