How long do THRI-kreen live?
Most thri-kreen live roughly 30 years, although adventurers are usually of a more resilient stock. Few thri-kreen ever live past 40 years. Alignment. Thri-Kreen have a very different sense of the world than most other races, having prioritized survival as a driving goal for countless generations.
Do thri-kreen have darkvision?
Darkvision. Due to the insectoid ancestry of Thri-Kreen, you have mastered the ability to hunt in dark conditions, you are able to see in dim light out to 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colours in darkness, only shades of grey. Multi-Limbed.
What do thri-kreen eat?
Thri-kreen packs spent their days foraging and hunting for the food and other supplies they need to survive. They could survive on relatively little food and water, and were carnivorous, pursuing a variety of creatures as prey.
How big are thri-kreen?
A full-grown thri-kreen stands seven feet tall but can be as long as 7 to 9 feet, and can weigh between 450 to 470 pounds. Your size is Medium. Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Can THRI-kreen speak common?
It is important to note that halflings and thri-kreen do not speak common. It is strongly recommended, however, that player character halflings and thri-kreen use one of their proficiency slots to obtain the common tongue.
Can THRI-kreen cast spells?
BUT they did not say you can’t use those arms to cast spells, this means that a Thri-Kreen spellcaster doesn’t have to be unarmed, they could hold a quarterstaff in their primary hands while still being able to cast their lovely Fireball or whatever else.
Are THRI-kreen playable?
The Thri-Kreen are not a playable race in D&D 5e, so we’ll first need to take a little history lesson before we take a stab at creating our custom Thri-Kreen for D&D 5e. The Thri-Kreen first displayed their multiple appendages in the AD&D Monster Manual II in 1983.
What book is THRI-kreen?
Thri-Kreen first appeared in the Dungeons & Dragons game with the Monster Cards accessories in 1982. From there they were published in the Monster Manual II for AD&D 1st edition in 1983. Following that they were included in the Forgotten Realms setting in 1989.
