What is the difference between Pentel GraphGear 500 and 1000?
The Pentel GraphGear 1000 differs from the Pentel GraphGear 500 in a few key ways. Both have a metal grip, but the GraphGear 1000 is heavier and has a retractable lead. This is useful if you often carry your pencil in your pocket and do not want to damage the pencil tip or your clothing.

The 2B pencil has a higher blackness, and the marks drawn are relatively black, while the HB pencil has a lower blackness, and the color of the marks drawn is relatively light, which is very different. 2B pencil is darker in color and lower in hardness. It is suitable for drawing and painting all kinds of cards.
Is GraphGear 500 good?
The Pentel GraphGear 500 is very well balanced and functions consistently and well. The grip is one of my favorites of all the models I own even when comparing it to the 1000. The only grip I can think of that I like more is on the Rotring 600, but that’s nearly 3 times the cost of the 500.
Why do mechanical pencils stop working?
It happens. A tiny bit of lead gets stuck somewhere in the mechanism, and stops it from working. Lead might not click forward, or it might click forward but slide back in when you try to use the pencil. Most mechanical pencils can be dismantled to some extent to clear a jam.
