Why am I getting so little LP per win?
As with any average-type system, the more games you play in a season the less each individual game will affect the system. MMR is no different. If you’re in Gold 4 and all of a sudden have a 10 game win streak, the MMR system keeps your account in check and grants you less LP per win.

Why did I get 9 LP?
+9 LP usually means that you are about 100 MMR too low which normalizes after about 50 games with a high winrate. As soon as you get +18 for a win your MMR is “normal”.

What are League of Legends league points (LP)?
As players win games in ranked, they gain League Points, also more commonly known as LP. They also lose LP when they are defeated. Upon reaching 100 total LP in a given division, players enter a promotion series to try and get to the next available division. Players must win a majority of their games in order to advance to the next division.
