Can I quit my job while on WSIB Ontario?

Policy. If a worker is concurrently employed, the worker’s actual earnings from the accident job may be adjusted if that job is part-time. If the worker is able to continue the non-accident work but is disabled from the “accident” job, compensation benefits are paid based on the accident job earnings.
Does WSIB pay pain and suffering?

It is essential that you are able to clearly document that the disciplinary action or even termination is not related to the injury. This is key to your due diligence defence. There is strong case law to support that termination must be just and entitlement to WSIB benefits denied.

If you worked for your employer for at least 1 year before your injury, your employer must generally offer you your regular job back after your injury. Under WSIB law, your employer does not have to create modified work for you.
Can WSIB force you to go back to work?
You are obligated to re-employ your injured or ill employee when you are notified that they are now medically able to perform: the essential duties of their pre-injury job, or. suitable construction work, or. suitable non-construction work.
Can WSIB force me back to work?
