Who discovered Amenhotep tomb?
The monument was originally discovered by two French engineers of Napoleon Bonaparte’s Egyptian expedition, Jollois and Devilliers, who excavated and charted the tomb. No records were kept of Theodore M. Davis’ excavations between 1905 and 1914, but he partially cleared it.
Why was Amenhotep important?
