The difference between the two is night and day although I haven’t used an up to date pike. The Lyrik is more supple, stiffer and more responsive. Arm pump is massively reduced too. If your budget can stretch, go for the Lyrik.

What is the difference between RockShox Lyrik and Pike?
Lyrik features the same 35mm chassis that Pike does, but is better because it uses the Rapid Recovery system that keeps the front wheel stable in dirt tracks. Pike’s chassis is notably designed to maximize on weight saving and increase in stiffness.
What is the difference between RockShox Pike RC and RCT3?
The difference between the RC and RCT3 is the RC does not have the pre-set options on the switch. It does have adjustable compression in clicks which achieve the same result just you have to work out how many clicks to turn to get the setting you want, plus at one end it becomes a lock out.
