What are Astral runes used for?
Used for Lunar spells. Astral runes are runes used in all Lunar Spells and a few Ancient Spells after The Light Within quest. Astral runes require level 40 Runecrafting to craft. They may be crafted by using pure essence at the Astral altar on Lunar Isle after the completion of Lunar Diplomacy.
Where do I get Astral runes?
Baba Yaga’s Magic Shop
Astral runes may also be purchased at Baba Yaga’s Magic Shop, located north of the bank on Lunar Isle. The shop stocks 250 astral runes. Players must have a Seal of passage equipped or in their inventory when attempting to trade with Baba Yaga or they’ll be thrown off the island.
How many Astrals can you craft an hour?

How do I get to the Astral altar?
Access. Unlike most altars, the Astral Altar does not need to be entered. As such, a talisman or tiara is not needed, nor can the players access the altar from the Abyss. However, the Lunar Diplomacy quest must be completed in order to use the altar.
How do I teleport to Lunar Isle?
Getting to Lunar Isle
- Talk to Lokar Searunner on the westernmost dock of Rellekka who will go to Pirates’ Cove, then go up to the pirate ship and talk to the pirate captain to go on to Lunar Isle.
- Casting the Moonclan Teleport spell from the lunar spellbook, or using a Moonclan teleport tablet.
How do you add Astral to wicked hood?
Operate the hood to teleport you to the Wizards’ Tower. Ask Sedridor to teleport you to the Essence mine, and gather pure essence. Activate the hood to teleport you to the Astral altar. Craft astral runes and switch to the lunar spellbook at the altar.

After players have completed Dream Mentor, they can right-click ‘Bird’s-Eye’ Jack in the bank and select “Using the bank” to use the bank without their Seal of passage. Bank on Lunar Isle is the closest one to the lodestone network.
How do you get seal of passage?
The seal of passage is obtained at the beginning of the Lunar Diplomacy quest by talking to Brundt the Chieftain in the longhall in Rellekka. Brundt the Chieftain will replace it for free if the player destroys it or loses it, it is always lost on death.
Can you get pure essence from wicked hood?
If a player “feeds” an omni-talisman to the hood, its daily rune essence allowance will be upgraded to pure essence. If the player loses their wicked hood and does not keepsake it, the player can get a new one for free from Tam McGrubor, and all previously unlocked altars will still be unlocked.
