How long do Morimoto HID bulbs last?

What is D2H light?
D2H bulbs are an aftermarket invention, that eliminates the socket altogether. They are built with wires coming out the base, leading to AMP-style connectors. They can be connected directly to a standard AMP HID ballast, with no need for sockets.
Are Morimoto bulbs worth it?
I would say the Morimoto’s are worth the price over the OEM LED’s. I originally had the halogen then upgraded to Morimoto LED bulbs. It helped but the light spread was not ideal. Then I upgraded to the OEM LED’s and that was much better than the halogen housing with LED bulbs but wasn’t as bright as I had hoped for.
Is D1S same as D3S?
D1S and D3S Xenon HID bulbs: There are 2 main differences between D1 and D3 bulbs. First is the voltage required to operate the bulb: D1 bulbs operate at 85V while D3 bulbs operate at 42V. Secondly, D3 bulbs are newer more environmentally friendly versions of D1 bulbs; D3 bulbs are mercury free.
What is the difference between D1R and D1S bulbs?
The bulbs with ‘R’ (D1R, D2R, D3R, D4R) have an opaque shield that covers parts of the bulb. These lights are designed for use in a specifically designed reflector headlamp optics. The ‘S’ type (D1S, D2S, D3S, D4S) does not have that kind of shield because they should be used in projector optics.
Can I use D3S instead of D1S?
Because of these differences, D1 and D3 bulbs cannot be interchanged UNLESS their ballasts are replaced with the corresponding bulbs (you cannot mix components from 2 systems together).
Is D2S and D2H same?
