How do you write a good SEF?
Your SEF should be organised to provide evidence in the same structure as the EIF and laid out in the following fashion:
- Context. A brief opening that clearly sets out the school’s context.
- Quality of Education.
- Behaviour and Attitudes.
- Personal Development.
- Leadership and Management.
Does Ofsted require a SEF?
Ofsted has no preferred SEF format However, Ofsted does not require you to present your SEF in a specific format (see paragraph 72 of the school inspection handbook).
