Why is my Shellac peeling off straight away?
Shellac manicure starts peeling within a day or 2: Your tech may have not dehydrated your nail bed well enough. You don’t always need to rough up the nail but the natural shine should be buffed down first (unless you are using Shellac brand gel polish they require no buffing). The polish might be older.
How do you fix peeling Shellac?
To help your nails recover after peeling gel off, moisturizing is still key. Try to stop picking at your nails and the skin around them while they both heal. Since picking off gel weakens the nail, it’ll take a while for your nails to grow back to their regular strength.
Is peeling off Shellac bad?

Spending time in chlorine-y pools, ocean water (yay, vacation!) or soapy water (lots of hand-washing) can also really dry out nails and polish leading to chipping and lifting and there isn’t much your nail tech can do about that. Solution: Keep CND solar oil handy and apply regularly.
Why is my shellac not drying?

The light not only drys the product but hardens it . If the product is applied too thick it can’t dry and harden as it should.

How do you fix lifting gel polish?

Does the lamp affect the adhesion of shellac?
If, however, you are using the correct lamp, there are other things that could affect Shellac adhesion (although I would be very surprised to see these cause Shellac to peel off whole).
Can I use LCN to cure shellac?
Don’t rule out the bulbs. LCN cures with less UV output and as we all know, Shellac is designed to be cured with the maximum output as designed by CND. If you are not using the CND lamp to cure Shellac, then you will have problems. That is the end of the story.
