ExplosmEntertainment is an American YouTube animation studio that creates short comics and video animations. They are best known as the creators of the “Cyanide & Happines” series.

The name came from one of my early 2004 comics, where it mentions that Cyanide & Happiness is the ingredients to back-alley cotton candy. I thought it fit well with making light of dark settings and vice versa.

Matt Melvin is one of the original artists for C&H. He was the oldest artist on the C&H team. As of September 2, 2014 he is no longer part of the Cyanide and Happiness team, leaving over creative differences, and to pursue his solo project The Last Nerds on Earth.
