Where is zutano?
Today, our headquarters are located in historic New Bedford, Massachusetts, a town that was once an epicenter of the US textile market. We still have our design office in Cabot, VT, where our design team – headed by Uli – continues to create award winning baby booties, accessories, and clothing.
Are zutano booties worth it?

Do zutano booties run small?
The only advice I have is that they run small. I bought the size 6 months for my 5 month old and they were really tight so I ordered a few more pairs in a size 12 and they are just right so they do run a bit small so size up.
How do you wash zutano booties?
We recommend washing in cold water and drying on low heat to achieve the proper amount of shrinkage in our 100% cotton clothing.
What is a Zutano avocado?
Zutano avocados are pear-shaped with shiny, thin yellow-green skins that don’t change color when fully ripe and are somewhat more difficult to peel than other varieties. They have light-textured, pale green flesh around a pear-shaped seed.
Do you wear socks with zutano?
Zutano’s Cozie fleece is actually breathable. With regard to wearing the booties with cotton socks, since cotton absorbs moisture rather than wicking it away, it does not make for a good layer underneath fleece. When warmth outdoors is a concern, I found in some cases the booties worked best without socks.
What is the difference between socks and booties?
Baby booties are not quite socks and not quite shoes. Think of them as slippers for babies, but really, they’re transitional footwear, so that your little one gets used to the idea of having something more structured than socks on their feet.
What are crib trainers?
Crib shoes (or pram shoes) are soft shoes for newborns (0 to around 6-9 months) that serve two functions: Keeping an infant’s feet warm, and fashion. There’s no medical or safety reason to use them, but a lot of parents just like the way they look or like the idea of covering their babies’ feet with a warm material.
Do Newborns need to wear shoes?

Do you wash baby booties before?
You should definitely wash baby’s clothes, blankets and other washable items that will come in contact with her skin. It’s not necessary to do it before she’s born, but it’s a good idea to do it before she wears them.
