Why does soft soap turn black?
Why is the soap sometimes discolored when it comes out of the soap dispenser? Discoloration can be caused by the pH value of the soap. Feel free to choose a mild and neutral pH soap, since high-pH soaps react with the metal and allow the soap to turn brown if the pump has not been used for a while.
Why is my soap turning blue?
It’s either the soda ash affecting the final color or the lack of heat that retarded the final color turn. This makes such a bright blue color that I recommend using close to 1 tablespoon diluted Royal Blue Labcolor per pound of soap to ensure no soapy blue bubbles.
Are bars of soap unsanitary?
