Can you weld Aluminium with Lift TIG?
TIG welders typically use pure argon shielding gas, especially for metals that are ½” thick or less. However, once you’re working with thicker aluminum, then you’ll need a helium-argon gas mixture in order to dig deep enough into the weld joint.
