Does Red River have ski in ski out?
We are the only true ski/in-ski/out experience in Red River. There are numerous amenities for all our guests. Enjoy our large hot tub adjacent to the river.
Is Red River good for beginners?
Red River is alright for beginners but does not have as many or as long or as wide runs for beginners. Angel Fire also has snow boarding and tubing if your teens are interested. Taos does not allow snowboarding.
Does Red River NM have snow?
The first snowfall of winter for Red River usually arrives in October. About once a decade it snows as early as September. The season’s last snowfall typically happens in May, although sometimes Red River receives no new snow after April. The mountain town is normally free of snow every year from June to August.
