Are all Discbound notebooks the same?
Typically all US half letter discbound are interchangeable (Levenger Circa, TUL) Typically, all A5 page size discbound are interchangeable (ARC & Dokibook) You can use A5 or US half letter with larger page size (e.g. MAMBI classic or the Inkwell press), however there will be a spare ring.
Is Arc and Tul compatible?
Are the punches and discs compatible between brands? I’ve tested the Happy Planner, ARC and TUL – all are interchangeable. I.e. the spacing between discs, the way the paper sits on the discs etc. is the same. You can use MAMBI Happy Planner insert refills with ARC and TUL discs.
Does happy planner fit Tul?
TUL does offer the smaller sizes, but they aren’t quite the size of the standard Happy Planner, but the inserts will fit, minus a disc or two. The TUL brand is a perfect match up with my Big Happy Planner!

I’ve used discbound systems for 4 years, and have never had anything fall out. If you put too many pages on the discs, the pages will start to pop out as you turn the planner, but even then they won’t just randomly fall out.
