Can you see Navy ships in Norfolk?
Norfolk Naval Station is a great place to view the Naval Fleet of carriers. The area is open to auto traffic but it is difficult to get very near the ships or take pictures. Don’t miss it!
Can dependents use base gym?
Every base or post has its fitness center. Sometimes, those facilities allow retirees and even dependents to use the gym and other morale, welfare and recreation services.
Can veterans use base gym?
Only with a VHIC can the veteran get access to the base. All a veteran has to do is take their VHIC, along with valid state ID, driver’s license or passport, to an installation’s Pass and ID office. It turns out a lot has changed since many veterans left the U.S. military.
