Can you use fabric glue for Girl Scout patches?
Fabric Glue: People swear this is their favorite method. It works best if your badges have fabric backs. The “iron-on” backing will not stay glued.
How do you put on Girl Scout patches without sewing?
An much easier way to attach girl scout patches is a simple tube of fabric glue! The trick is scratching the back of the patches with scissors to created a surface the patches can stick to (sandpaper works too). Just make sure you peel off any backing first…. I learned that lesson the hard way as well!
Can Scout badges be ironed on?
You can use an iron to attach a Boy Scout patch if you do not want to sew. You can iron Boy Scout patches on instead of sewing them on, and as long as the backing seals properly you will not have to worry about them falling off when the uniform goes through the laundry.

Instead of sewing or ironing patches onto sashes or vests, glue them on! You can get fabric glue at any craft or fabric store. Just spread the glue on the patch, press the patch onto the vest, let it dry, and voila! So easy, and they stay on so much better than when you iron them on.

If your fabric doesn’t hold up to heat well or if you don’t have an iron, this fabric glue is the best no-sew option.
