Can you use WAV on Uber?
*Uber WAV is only available in select markets. Riders who use folding wheelchairs can request a ride in all other options available through the Uber app. Drivers are expected to accommodate riders using walkers, canes, folding wheelchairs, or other assistive devices.
Where is uber WAV offered?
Uber has launched uberWAV in several cities around the world including; Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington DC. UberWAV lets riders who use non-folding, motorized wheelchairs connect with drivers in accessible vehicles equipped with ramps or lifts.

Currently, drivers through that program are paid $13 for any WAV trip and a monthly bonus of $220 for completing 55 trips. When that program began, it was a small cohort of drivers and they had to complete a safety training at the Uber office.
