Do my floors need to be sanded?
Yes. When you want to stain or change the color of your hardwood floors, you MUST fully sand and refinish the floors. If you don’t sand the floors first, the stain won’t properly penetrate the hardwood nor will the polyurethane properly adhere. This is the ONLY way to change the color of your hardwood floors.
What is dustless sanding floor?
Dustless sanding is a sanding process that eliminates 99.8% of dust produced when sanding hardwood floors. The process eliminates the dangers and tedious processes associated with sanding hardwood flooring. While dustless sanding isn’t 100% dust free, it is the safest and easiest way to sand hardwood flooring today.

Can you walk on sanded floors?
Drying time after the floors are refinished: At a minimum, you should wait at least 24 hrs before walking on the floors; for hours 24-48, it’s best to wear socks only (no shoes, no bare feet). Ideally, you should wait a total of 4 days before moving furniture back.
Is dust free floor sanding really dust free?
Although it’s called a “dustless” process, in reality it’s not completely dust-free. There will always be a small amount of dust created and released into the air during any hardwood floor finishing process.
