Do you have to pay for the Color Run?
There are plenty of great 5ks out there that test speed and performance. However, The Color Run is a non-competitive and untimed 5k filled with color that you can experience with friends and family. You’re free to run, jog, walk, or cartwheel along the course!
Do color run stain your clothes?
The cleanup: It may only be colored cornstarch, but the powder can still stain. First off, do not wear anything that you’ll be upset to lose. While the colored powder may come out in the wash, there’s a good chance it won’t depending on how much it’s set.
Do you need water for a Colour run?
The Colour Run is a rain, rainbow and shine event. We’ll only consider postponing or cancelling the event when safety is at stake. Is water supplied? We encourage all Colour Runners to bring a bottle of water with them to keep hydrated.

How do I start a Color Run fundraiser?
You will need ample time to get the word out and get people excited for your color run fundraiser. Start distributing materials or plan an outreach campaign far enough in advance that participants can raise funds or commit to your event. We’ll provide you with the posters and materials you need.
