As a freshman at ECU, you’re guaranteed a room in one of our residence halls! All freshmen are required to live on campus as part of a common experience to bond new students to the university and provide support through the crucial first year of college.
What are the dorms like at ECU?
All our residence halls are tobacco free. Every room features a microfridge, air conditioning, and bunkable beds (College Hill Suites features a kitchenette in each suite). College Hill Suites (CHS) is available only to upper division students. First-year students will not be assigned to CHS.
Are freshman allowed to have cars at ECU?
Student permits are purchased according to availability, living arrangements, and credit hours (resident students). All student permits are valid according to the academic year August 1 to July 31 of the following year. These permits are not automatically renewed and must be purchased prior to parking on campus.
