Where is the gym at Ualbany?
Open Recreation Basketball occurs in the P.E. gym located on the first floor of the Physical Education Building. All participants are required to wear wristbands at all times. To access this facility, visit the Recreation Services office located outside the gym.
Is UAlbany gym free?

To the dismay of UAlbany swimmers, the University at Albany campus swimming pool has been permanently closed as part of an $80-million renovation plan of the Physical Education building. Axley said that prior to the university going virtual in March 2020, 15 lifeguards were employed by Campus Recreation.

A major upgrade to the hall is controllable air conditioning in each room. Residents can control the temperature in every space within a four-degree range, between 68 and 72 degrees. The residence hall also has laundry rooms on each floor, allowing students easy access to washing machines and dryers.

Where do Freshman live at UAlbany?
First-year students can live in Steinmetz Hall and second-year students can live in Melville Hall. These adjoining residence halls, located on State Quad, are recently renovated.
