Does VATSIM work with FSX?
On VATSIM you can join people on the other side of the planet to fly and control, with nothing more than a home computer. Many flight simulators are supported by our pilot software including Microsoft FSX, FS9/2004, FS2002, XPlane and P3D. If you wish to join VATSIM, the process is quick and simple.
Can you fly VFR on VATSIM?
Flying VFR on VATSIM is much the same as real world. However, always file a flight plan marking it VFR so that ATC knows that you know what you’re doing and not just out there ignoring flight rules. A route of flight is not required and cruise altitude should reflect a VFR altitude. Make sure you squawk 1200.

In order to use FSINN or Squawkbox with Audio for VATSIM, you will need the latest version of FSINN or Squawkbox already instealled and the Audio for VATSIM standalone client. We no longer provide download links for either of these clients and encourage you to consider using a more modern client if possible.
How do I download and install fscopilot and fsinn?
Download FSInn v1.3 and FSCopilot v1.7 from the FSX Utilitiespage; they are compatible with both x86 and x64 Windows XP/7/10 versions. If You run FSX make sure to have the SP2 update already installed, while for FS2004 is necessary to have the v9.1 update already installed before installing FSCopilot and FSInn.
Does fscopilot support fs2002/fs2004/fsx?
FSCopilot supports FS2002/FS2004/FSX. FSCopilot 1.6 only supports FSInn 1.2. FSInn is a MS Flight Simulator add-on allowing you to fly online on various ATC networks and VATSIM. FSInn supports FS2002/FS2004 and FSX betas. FSInn 1.2 requires FSCopilot 1.6.
