0805 is the smallest SMT resistor that is still easy to solder. 0603 is also still quite doable for most people, but it’s getting a bit smallish, and therefore more difficult. 0402 and smaller gets hard without very good equipment such as stereo microscopes. ( 10x magnification is enough)
