Does MRU have dorms?
We have two residence complexes – West Residence and East Residence – designed for independent student living. Combined, they accommodate about 1,000 students. Our residences are available in either apartment or townhouses units – no cramped dorms here!
Is MRU open on weekends?
The IT Service Desk is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays. Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
How do I check my MRU application status?
At any time in the application process, you can login to your Future Student Portal, your online student portal, to check your application/admission status. You can complete the profile information to create an account or a username and password will be sent to you once you apply.
How do I access my MRU email?
All MRU employees and students use Google for both mail and calendaring purposes. To access your Gmail account simply navigate to Gmail.com or click the MRU Gmail link on MyMRU and login using your MRU email address and password.

Becoming a member of MRU’s Residence community requires the following steps: Choose how long you wish to live in Residence and your preferred room type. The Accommodation Agreement (this is included in the application) Submit your application and $60 non-refundable application fee.
