- Be a minimum of 12 years of age as at 31 December 2022.
- Be a registered and financial member of Athletics NSW at the time of competition.
- Compete in the 2022 NSW Junior Athletics Championships (25 – 27 February) or NSW Open Athletics Championships (18 – 20 February) depending on your age**
