Because out of frost trap it�s absolutely impossible to tame him, and even if you trap him in combat: as soon as Uhk’loc is out again, he will push you backwards and resist the tame. The magic trick is to get as far as away from Uhk’loc as you can – of course, you must still be in shooting range.
