An Iconic 6.5km Open Water Swim around the beautiful Brownsea Island set in the middle of Poole Harbour in Dorset. Organised since 1991 by RLSS Poole Lifeguard – a voluntary lifesaving and lifeguard club – who have been saving lives since 1975 and are a registered charity.

It is truly a wildlife haven, I don’t think I have ever seen so many different animals in one place other than at a zoo! The coast too is lovely with high sandstone cliffs, good sandy beaches and fine views of the harbour.
