Training at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst lasts for 44 weeks, broken down into three 14-week terms. Between each term, there are adventurous training exercises and 2-3 weeks of leave. Term One focuses on basic military skills, fitness and decision making.
What is the pass rate for Sandhurst?
The commissioning course has roughly an 80% pass rate. West Point, or the US Military Academy, is a four year accredited college that sends its graduates into the US military, mostly Army, as officers. Sandhurst is not a college.

Sandhurst was hard, I’ve been known to tell people it was the worst and best year of my life. Very hard, away from family, no room for personality, sleep deprivation, punishments for minor infringements, freezing cold exercises, injuries, more tiredness and a very steep learning curve.
